Ms. Anthi Maslarinou graduated from the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics of Democritus University of Thrace in November 2021. From November 2020, she is a member of the Pharmacology Laboratory of the Department of Medicine of Democritus University of Thrace, where she conducted her bachelor thesis "Study of the effect of anticoagulant therapy on methylation of the Pitx2 gene in patients with atrial fibrillation" under the supervision of Professor Vangelis Manolopoulos. She continued to volunteer at the Laboratory of Pharmacology in research projects related to pharmacogenetics and epigenetics.

At the same time, since November 2021 she is a postgraduate student in the MSc program “Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics” at the Department of Medicine of Democritus University. Since February 2022 she has been working as a postgraduate student at the Individualised Medicine & Pharmacological Research Solutions Center - IMPReS (MIS5047189).

Her scientific interests include the pharmacogenetics and pharmaco-epigenetics of various diseases with emphasis on cancer disease.
