Mrs. Voulgaridou Gavriela has a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from Department of Nutrition and Dietetics of Alexander Technological Institution of Thessaloniki (2021). Since 2021 she is studying for her Master’s of Science degree in «Nutrition and Dietetics» (Orientation: Sports Nutrition) at the Department of Nutritional Science and Dietetics at the International Hellenic University, while she has also studying for her Master’s of Science in «Research Methodology in Medicine and in Health Sciences» (Orientation: Clinical research), at the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

Since January 2022 she is working in the research project entitled "Investigation of the specific dietary requirements and preferences in consumers of varied age groups for the improvement of the efficacy of the EGGPRO series of egg  white supplements". Since February 2023 she is working as a new researcher for the project “Individualised Medicine & Pharmacological Research Solutions Center (IMPReS)” which is implemented under the Action “Support for Regional Excellence”, funded by the Operational Program “Competitiveness, Entrepreneurship and Innovation” (NSRF 2014–2020).

She has authored 12 publications in international peer-reviewed scientific journals and 4 in scientific books. She also has 3 papers in international scientific conferences. Her current research interests include nutrigenetics-nutrigenomics and pharmacogenomics in various pathological conditions with emphasis on psychiatric diseases.
