Erifyli- Filothei enrolled in Aristotle University Of Thessaloniki School of Veterinary Medicine in 2017 and graduated in the minimum possible study period of 5 years, as a valedictorian. During her studies, she has been granted scholarships from the Federation of Veterinarians of Europe (FVE), the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and the State Scholarships Foundation (IKY).
She has presented 7 scientific studies of veterinary content, 4 in Greek conferences and 3 in the International Veterinary Student Congress( 2019 και 2022) namely: Inbreeding and its ‘effects in purebred dogs (2019), Surgical Interventions for PDA in dogs (2020), Lactation Longue: An unconventional management method for steady supply in goat milk (2022), An introduction to One Health Initiative (2022), Nutritional support of the critically ill patient (2022).
She has attended 12 Domestic and International Conferences along with many other seminars and forums. While she was a student, she has volunteered and has been a member of the International Veterinary Students’ Association, the European Association of Veterinary Dentists as well as 5 other Associations.
For the academic year of 2022-2023, she has been training at the Clinics Department of Veterinary Medicine for Small, Farm animals and Ηorses at Istanbul University, specifically in the fields of Orthopedic Surgery, Eye Surgery, Neurosurgery, Soft Tissue Surgery, ENT Surgery, Dental Surgery, Anesthesiology, Intensive Care and Clinical Pathology while she also started attending a Masters Degree in Bioinformation and Data Analysis in the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics of DUTH. As of February 2023, she has been a Research Associate for the project “Individualized Medicine & Pharmacological Research Solutions Center (IMPReS)” (MIS 5047189) which is implemented under the Action “Support for Regional Excellence”, funded by the Operational Program “Competitiveness, Entrepreneurship and Innovation” (NSRF 2014–2020), under the supervision of Professor Vangelis Manolopoulos. Her research interests include Pharmacogenomics, Clinical Pharmacology, Clinical Pathology and Bioinformatics.
