Ms. Anatolou has a bachelor of science degree in Molecular Biology and Genetics (MBG) from the Democritus University of Thrace (DUTH). During the period between June and July 2019, she carried out her practical training at the Laboratory of Gene expression, Molecular diagnosis and Modern therapeutics of the MBG DUTH, where she also obtained her bachelor thesis “Study of the expression of cell cycle genes in cancer cells that overexpress miR-342” under the supervision of Professor Raphael Sandaltzopoulos in 2020. From October 2021 she attends the inter-university Master’s Degree Programme “Bioinformatics and Neuroinformatics” of the Hellenic Open University and the Ionian University.
From July 2021, Ms. Anatolou is a Research Associate for the project “Individualised Medicine & Pharmacological Research Solutions Center (IMPReS)” (MIS 5047189) which is implemented under the Action “Support for Regional Excellence”, funded by the Operational Program “Competitiveness, Entrepreneurship and Innovation” (NSRF 2014–2020), under the supervision of Professor Vangelis Manolopoulos. Her research interests include Molecular Biology, Bioinformatics and Pharmacogenomics.
